The editorial teams behind TVBEurope and The
IBC Daily collaborated to choose the very best new product innovations at IBC 2008 – and they selected
the Codex Lab as one of their winners.
This year the judges were especially looking for new products that clearly show the potential to make money, or save money, for end users (rather than clever technology for technology's sake).
The Codex Lab, a digital-film-lab-in-a-box, forms the hub of fast and efficient tapeless workflows for broadcast and motion picture productions. It is modular, offers enormous recording capacity, and provides all of the deliverables needed for production, post and archive processes. And... it can create a complete set deliverables in less time than traditional systems take to make a single copy.
